Paula Šūmane è una talentuosa violinista lettone, vincitrice di numerosi concorsi internazionali e del
Latvian Great Music Award. Da solista, si è esibita con diverse orchestre sinfoniche e da camera, tra cui: l’Orchestra Metropolitana di Lisbona e l’Orchestra, Sinfonica Nazionale Lettone.

Paula Šūmane, violinist
Paula Šūmane is a Latvian concert violinist and the prize winner of numerous international violin competitions and the Latvian Great Music Award. As a soloist, Paula has performed with various symphony and chamber orchestras – Lisbon Metropolitan orchestra, Baden-Baden Philharmonic orchestra, Hofer Symphoniker, Klaipeda National Music Theatre orchestra, Liepaja Symphony orchestra, Latvian National Symphony orchestra, Sinfonietta Riga and others. Paula has collaborated with world-renowned conductors, such as Pinchas Steinberg, Sesto Quatrini, Daniel Raiskin, Simone Young, Andris Poga, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, James Feddeck, Antonio Mendez, Lawrence Foster, Michele Mariotti, Normunds Šnē, Eiji Oue, and many others. Paula has graduated from two prestigious music universities – Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) and Kunstuniversität Graz (KUG) with professors Yair Kless and Boris Garlitsky, both with highest distinctions.
Olita Liepiņa, piano accompanist
Olita Liepiņa is an accomplished piano teacher and accompanist. Graduated from the Latvian Music Academy. She has performed throughout Europe with Latvian soloists and brought numerous awards at international competitions. Olita Liepina works as a piano teacher at Jurmala Music High school and has award winning piano students. Ever since their first collaboration 20 years ago, Olita and Paula have performed together and received prizes in Italy, Germany, France, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Lithuania and Latvia.
